Soap-box & Uncommon Records "No Dough, No Show Compilation"

You can always expect a quality project from the good folks over at Uncommon Records, led by owner/producer Nasa. The latest project, a compilation, drops as a tie in to Soap-Box's recent Fall clothing line. The project includes work from Willie Green, Kitchen Khemistry, Adam Warlock, Agartha Audio, Taiyamo Denku and Short Fuze, among others. It's a fresh project. Check it.
The compilation ties together the themes of Soap-Box' recent Fall clothing line and centers in on struggling musicians from a first person perspective.  Each of the artists on the album created a track about the difficulties of making music in an era when everyone wants it for free.  From the artistic, to the financial implications, it's all laid out in stunning fashion.  The best thing that can come from this release is a further understanding of the relationship between artist and listener and the realization that we are all living under the same difficulties in life.
