A bit of sports... Is There a Better Starting Five?

A friend of mine posted these five as the starting line up on a dream squad: Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson. This team is obviously based on these players at their prime and not if they suited up today. I thought that it was a pretty serious starting five. If you look at these players and their attributes and it's hard to argue that there is another starting five out there that would compare. Thought that I would post the team here and open it up for another five. Who you got? I'm down to start the debate.

It's hard to argue with the five there. Me, being a child of the 80's and being able to see these guys, it's tough to pick anyone else. So how about I pick my second team. Shaquille O'Neal at center. I know he caon't hit a free throw to save his life, but he was just too dominant. At the 4 is Tim Duncan. I suppose I could go with Karl Malone, but Duncan has 4 rings. Enough said. Small forward is Scottie Pippen. Defender on Jordan's level. The best complimentary player of all time. 6 rings. Playing the 2 is Kobe Bryant. The closest thing to Mike. 3 rings. Great defender and if you need a basket in the clutch TODAY, who do you pick? And running the team would have to be Jason Kidd. I KNOW he can't shoot, but with all of these other guys, you gotta get someone to get all these guys the rock. so there it is. My Second Team. What ya got? Any takers? Edgar J
